PYRAD® technology is developed for modern and light FR BDU systems. Its carbon dot technology, when exposed to fire activates and creates a FR shield. PYRAD® is inherent to the fabric and durable for the life of the product.
PRODUCT TECHNOLOGY
GORE-TEX® is light, durably waterproof, totally windproof, and highly breathable keeping the wearer dry and warm. Combined with the unique PYRAD® technology GORE-TEX® PYRAD® rain suits ensures combined weather and FR protection.
BDU TECHNOLOGY
VAR BDU technology is engineered for modern and lightweight FR BDU systems. The technology brings together inherent and effective heat & flame protection, outstanding air permeability, and mechanical strength.
DuPont™ Kevlar® is light and extraordinary strong. Kevlar® body armor brings comfort and superior ballistic, fragments, and stab protection. Kevlar® fiber is inherently FR, providing thermal protection from blasts.

WINDSTOPPER® membrane technology is totally windproof and provides excellent water resistance and moisture transport. Combined with the right insulation materials it balances insulation and prevents hypothermia.
CROSSTECH® PARALLON®
The PARALLON® system advances firefighters’ turnout gear, by delivering enhanced protection (even when wet), outstanding breathability, and improved lightness/flexibility, keeping the wearer dry and cooler for longer.

DuPont™ Tensylon™ is a superior UHMWPE technology for hard armor applications. Tensylon™ hard armor systems ensure high reliability and minimal to none performance change in extreme temperatures.
